This replacement R2-styled dome has been created to replace the standard 1:12 scale R2D2 or R2D5 dome from Bandai. R2 series astromech droids, also known as R2 units, are very popular series of astromech droids produced by Industrial Automaton. They are the most popular line of all the R-series and typically stand at around 1 meter in height, sported a distinctive domed head, they are programmed to perform a variety of tasks. The R2 series is a major success for Industrial Automaton, and many later models of astromech are based on the R2 series, though none have the same success. R2-F3 has standard sensor systems on it’s dome allowing but has long-range communication abilities due to the increased capacity inside the unit. Printed in high quality grey ABS-like resin. the R2 head will require painting. Bandai kit is NOT included.
